On November 24, 2023, the Ignác Darányi agricultural study competition organized by PSU took place for the first time. The competition was attended by high school teams from Slovakia and Serbia, and the topic of the competition was the presentation of local habitats. The quality of the event was further raised by the fact that the jury was trained by the teachers of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE), and the opening lecture was given by MATE’s institute director, Dr. András Geösel, “What are mushrooms good for – apart from food?” with title. In the end, the team of the Óbecse School of Economics and Business won the fierce competition, but all participants besides them were enriched with valuable prizes and experiences.
